Car Review: 2017 Holden Trailblazer Z71

Holden is launching its Trailblazer Z71 which is based on the Trailblazer LTZ specifications with stylish interior and exterior enhancements.

Car aficionados as we are, here is our review on the Trailblazer Z71!

Exterior Features:

The exterior of the Z71 is dark, black and hot! The 18-inch alloy wheels, side moulding, mirrors, handles, B pillar trims and black belt line moulding for example.

The Car Interior:

The interior of the car has leather seating, climate control feature, power adjustable driver’s seat, and 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen unit that includes AppleCar Play and Android Auto connectivity which allows good passenger connectivity. Holden has also accessorised the Trailblazer Z71 with embroidered headrest and floor mats!

Colour Options:

The Z71 is going to be available in four colours that complement the black exterior design which are Summit White, Absolute Red, Satin Steel Grey and Mineral Black. Customers who would like Trailblazer Z71 in Mineral Black will have to shell out an extra $ 550 but worth it for a Dark Knight we suppose.

Expected Features and Performance:

As the Z71 is built on the Trailblazer LTZ model the customers can expect lane departure warning, shift-on-the-fly 4wd, lane keep assist, blind spot alert and forward collision alert features to be present on the Trailblazer Z71.

The Trailblazer Z71 would have a 2.8L Duramax diesel engine with 147KW power, 6-speed automatic transmission and 500Nm torque which should be able to deliver excellent performance on and off the road. Like its predecessor, the Trailblazer Z71 would also have to compete with models such as the 2017 Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Benefits of the Trailblazer Z71:

The Trailblazer Z71 is a transformed stylish family-friendly SUV which can comfortably seat seven people with sufficient leg space for kids at the back seats. The foldable back seat functionality offers ample space for a family to carry pieces of equipment to gym classes and picnics spots. Based on individual needs, customers can customise with accessories such as a towbar and roof-mount by purchasing it from the dealership.

Holden is going to release the limited edition of Trailblazer Z71 in the Australian market in June. Only 400 units will be up for grabs, so if you like what you have read then do check it out on its launch!
